The «Soomaa» Fair Isle scarf pattern comes as a PDF with written instructions, charts and photos which you can download immediately after the payment. It prints onto A4 or US Letter paper. You will need a program such as Adobe Reader to access it (see adobe.com).
This is easy/intermediate level knitting pattern; the following skills are required: Cast on, Knit, Circular Knitting, Color Knitting, Bind off. This scarf is a great design to practise your Fair Isle knitting. As it’s knitted in the round, you knit pattern on the right side only.
All measurements are given in US and metric. Scarf is knitted in one piece. Furthermore full pattern support is available by message or email.

YARN: Any 8 ply / DK weight yarn. You may also use Sport or Fingering yarn in 2 treads. I used DROPS Sky by DROPS Design.

352 yds / 85 g in sea green (#06),
352 yds / 85 g in hazelnut (#11),
352 yds / 85 g in curry (#17).

GAUGE: 4” × 4” | 10 cm × 10 cm = 21 sts × 28 rows in stockinette stitch.

NEEDLES: Circular or double pointed needles US 4 | 3.5 mm.
