Soothesayer Cloth
Designed to soothe any worries you have about working with wild coloured yarns.
Okay but like, have you ever looked at a skein of wildly coloured yarn and thought, “Pretty, but how would that even work?”. This pattern is for THAT skein. I’ve knit this up in a rainbow yarn, a proof-of-concept that even wild yarns can be tamed in a cloth. Make self-care a little more luxurious with this scrubby cloth!
This Soothesayer Motif is super simple (just a 4 stitch repeat!), yet the results are interesting and create a texture great for scrubbing and cleansing.
So many knitters go through a ‘dish cloth’ phase, and I was never one of them…so now I’m making up for lost time! I’m hooked! A great way to test out new stitch patterns, learn new techniques (like working slipped stitches and under loose stitches) and get a practical little swatch while you’re at it.
If you have the knitting and purling stitches down, but are curious how else you can remix them, this pattern is for you!
