‘Sopherl’ is the affectionate form for Sophie.

The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. First it starts with two separate shoulder pieces for the back that are shaped with short rows, joined to form the upper back, then worked to the underarms. The fronts are picked up from the cast-on edges of the back and worked to the underarms. Then fronts and back are joined and worked in one piece to the hem. The set-in sleeves are picked up from the armholes, shaped with short rows, and then worked in the round to the cuff.

In addition to the main pattern, there are another two PDF files for the front charts. One for the sizes XXS-M1 and one for M2-2XL. You only have to print out 2 pages from the PDF file for your size.

‘Sopherl’ ist die Koseform für Sophie.

Die Jacke wird nahtlos von oben gestrickt. Sie beginnt mit zwei separat gestrickten Schulterteilen des Rückens, die mit verkürzten Reihen geformt werden. Beide werden zu einem Rückenteil verbunden und bis zu den Unterarmen gearbeitet. Die Vorderteile werden von der Anschlagkante des Rückens aufgenommen und ebenfalls bis zum Unterarm gestrickt. Danach werden Vorderteile und Rücken verbunden und in einem Stück bis zum Ende gestrickt. Die Ärmelmaschen werden aus den Armlöchern aufgenommen, die Armkugel mit verkürzten Reihen geformt und in Runden bis zum Handgelenk gestrickt.

Zusätzlich zu der Hauptanleitung gibt es noch zwei weitere PDFs für die Charts der Vorderteile. Eine für die Größen XXS-M1 und eine für M2-2XL. Es sind für jede Größe nur zwei Seiten auszudrucken.
