This cancer cap was designed in honour of a wonderful young lady & dear friend I met 5 years ago, Sophie Steiner. She was an amazing, bright and beautiful soul who had the biggest heart.

For her I designed a hat which she could adjust for a perfect fit, and a hat that is youthful, bright and colourful. If there was one thing Sophie wanted more than anything it was for youth with cancer to still be allowed to be teenagers! So please let your imaginations soar, everyone needs a colourful, comfortable hat, so wether you knit this for yourself or a dear one with cancer, don’t be afraid to be bold!

All proceeds from this pattern will be donated to the amazing camp where we met: Play in the Wild! The Fierce Grace Fund sponsors youth who live with life threatening illnesses and/or their siblings to participate in Play in the Wild! programs.
Sophie unfortunately died at the young age of 15, but she will never be forgotten.

Ce chapeau a été crée en honeur d’une merveilleuse jeune fille et bonne amie que j’ai rencontré il y a 5 ans, Sophie Steiner. Elle était une éblouissante et belle personne, qui avait un coeur énorme.

Pour elle, j’ai crée un chapeau ajustable et bien coloré, car Sophie voulait plus que tout que les jeunes atteints du cancer puissent quand même être adolescent. Aloes s’il vous plait laisser votre imagination aller, tout le monde à besoin d’un chapeau coloré et confortable. Que vous tricotiez ce chapeau pour vous ou quelqu’un que vous connaissez avec le cancer, n’ayez pas peur de choisir une laine extraordinaire!
