Sophie Hat
Designed in collaboration with Botanical Yarn, the Sophie hat uses the same beautiful cable and lace pattern as the Sophie Cowl. It is knit using fingering weight and mohair or suri alpaca held together to create a stylish and very wearable cosy accessory.

Yarn Requirements: 50g fingering weight yarn (Yarn A) & 25g Suri Alpaca or Mohair (Yarn B)
Sample knit in Botanical Yarn 4ply Superwash (75% Merino and 25% Nylon; 100g 425m, 464 yards) 40g used & Non Superwash Mohair laceweight (72% Kid Mohair and 28% silk; 50g 420m, 459 yards) 23g used in the colour way Monarda.
Needles: US 4/3.50 mm and US 6/4.00 mm 16”/40 cm circular needles, US 6/4.00 mm double pointed needles for decrease section
Notions: Markers with one to stand out as BOR Marker, cable needle, tapestry needle
Gauge: 23 sts x 34 rows for 4”/10 cm in stocking stitch on 4.00 mm needles
