Sophie is a pretty laid-back snake lady. Give her a warm place to sleep and a hug now and then and she’ll be as happy as can be.

Sophie is knitted in the round using the stitches knit, lifted increases, slip stitch over and knit 2 together. The diamond pattern on her back is embroidered using duplicate stitches - the pattern includes a tutorial with pictures on how to do that.

Following the instructions in the pattern, Sophie ends up about 85 cm (33 inches) long, although she can of course be made as long or short as you wish.
