NOTE: This listing is for a digital PDF PATTERN ONLY. This is NOT a finished product. This is a CROCHET PATTERN written in ENGLISH ONLY and uses standard US terms. Refunds are not available on this item.

The finished sloth, when worked in 4ply yarn, will measure approximately 8” (20cm) nose to bum with a 8” (20cm) back to claws. This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension. For a larger sloth work in double knit, aran or chunky.

For Sophie the Sloth I used Scheepjes Catona, but any smooth mercerised cotton yarn will give the same result. You can also use other yarns but obviously it will look a little different.
I used approximately 70g of Root Beer (157), 10g of Bridal White (105), 20g of Black Coffee (162). You can obviously use any colours or brand you fancy but the results will again be different.

Scissors, dressmakers pins, darning needle, long upholstery needle, stitch markers (referred to as markers), 10mm safety eyes, a safety nose (optional) and stuffing.

This pattern is relatively easy to follow but does require basic crochet knowledge of single and double crochet and the ability to work a magic ring. Everything is easily learnt from Youtube if you are not 100% sure. It is written in US terms but easily converted to UK terms. There are full instructions of how to make the shapes required and a free guide on how to crochet for beginners.

It is worked in African Flower shapes with instructions in written form with lots of photographs and handy hints to follow for assembly.

This pattern is written in English using US crochet terms. It is not in any other language.
