Sophie's Shawl
Pattern Updated May 2017 to include changes made while knitting the red version. I love the original but I wanted to have the beaded yarn distributed a bit more throughout the body of the shawl. I have also added a tassel option which makes it fun and sassy to wear.
I’m in love with the gorgeous drape and design of this shawl and wanted to share it with you.
The idea for this shawl came when Lise wanted a triangular shawl for her daughter Sophie. While walking around the store, she fell in love with Merino Cloud from Artyarns. It was only a matter of time that she would stumble upon the matching beaded mohair. Well, needless to say, she fell in love with the combo. After explaining a few things she wanted in the shawl, I offered to design something with her.
Thus, Sophie’s Shawl was created.
