Sophie’s sweater is a deep raglan pullover worked from the top down. The yoke is worked in the round in one piece until the sleeves and body are separated at the underarm. The sleeves are also worked top-down in the round. You can decorate purl ridges with a simple satin stitch if you wish (optional).

Sophie’s sweater はトップダウンで編むラグランセーターです. 被り口から編み始め, ラグランで増し目をしながら脇下まで編み, 袖と身頃を分け, 身頃のみを輪編みで裾まで編みます. 裾は前後に分けて往復編みで長さを変えます. 休めていた袖を輪編みします. ブロッキング後, お好みで裏目段やケーブル段にお好みの糸で刺繍をします.
