Kids love to dress up! What can be more awesome for them than to have a Sorcerer’s Hat? This type of hat can be found illustrated in fairy tales of old of real Sorcerer’s. The hat is fairly easy to make and will quickly become a heirloom. This hat will be kept until the child grows up and can look back with wonderful memories.

Make it without the Applique’s in straight black and you have a Witches Hat.

Hat requires Medium Worsted Weight Yarn and a 4 mm Crochet Hook. It is pretty straight forward using Single Crochet for the hat and SC, HDC, DC, TRC for the Applique Stars and Half Moon’s. It is recommended that Light Worsted or DK yarn be used for the Applique’s along with a 3.5 mm Crochet Hook. A beginner with basic knowledge will find this easy to make.
