Sorcha
A slouchy tam with a simple cable and mesh pattern. Worked in fingering weight yarn, Sorcha provides just the right amount of warmth for those crisp autumn days. Don’t let the small gauge fool you – it’s a surprisingly quick knit.
The pattern contains both written and charted directions, and is suitable for an advanced beginner that is comfortable with knitting in the round, cables, travelling stitches, and simple lace.
The pattern is written for one size (22”) but will fit a range of 18”-24” due to the stretchy nature, and depending on how severely you block.
Big thanks to the following for being test knitters - this pattern wouldn’t be possible without you!
