Sorcha
Bundle up! Bouncy cables and a deep collar make Sorcha the ideal choice for wearing around the house on a chilly winter day. The cardigan is knit from the top down, starting with the upper back. Stitches are picked up from the cast-on edge for the fronts, and they’re joined with the upper back when the underarms are cast on. The body is knit straight, with slipped stitches along the front open. The collar is added to the neckline, with slipped stitches to match. Stitches are picked up around the armholes for the sleeves, which are shaped using short rows. Finally, the button band is picked up from the wrong-side, pushing the slipped stitches to the front to create a distinctive line on the right side while being perfectly neat on the wrong side. Choose a size with 1-4 in / 3-10 cm of positive ease through the bust.
The pattern includes Stitch Pattern A in both written and charted formats.
