SoSaH
Socks of Sunshine and Happiness (SoSaH!) are a top down sock based on a modified Sky Sock Architecture from Cat Bordhi’s New Pathways for Sock Knitters. You should not need the book knit these socks, but it’s a great book and well worth purchasing anyway.
The pattern is charted throughout. It is suitable for anyone who can read charts and knit simple cables and lace. The finished sock looks far more complex than it is to knit.
400 yards of sock yarn should be sufficient for most sizes. If you have a wide or long foot, you may wish to purchase additional yarn.
To make a larger or smaller sock, adjust gauge. For a 9” foot circumference, a gauge of 8 spi is needed. For a 10” foot circumference, a gauge of 7.5 spi is needed.
