The unique marriage of a soft wool mohair and a fingering weight sock yarn make for a special piece.

This ‘Soufflé Cardigan’ is knit doubled throughout with 2 different types of yarns with 2 different weights. The body is knit with a combination of Wool Mohair + Sock yarn, while all the twisted ribbing is knit with doubled Sock yarn.

An easy top down approach, starting with short-row shaping in the shoulders for a more comfortable fit.

The cardigan is a cropped length, with the center of the front 4” shorter than the back. The two front sides have a flattering angled shape that accentuate the legs and pair well with high waisted bottoms.

Note: due to the combination of different yarns, it is important to have correct gauges to knit this cardigan. Please read the gauge instructions and yarn section below for more details.
