This pattern is a knit fingering weight shawl pattern that requires 2 hanks of any fingering weight JOMA Yarns. This pattern gives you the freedom to plan the shaping and construction of your shawl. It is a two part shawl that begins as a symmetrical triangle of slip stitch garter fabric, and flares to crescent or heart shaped shawl shaping once you switch to your lace phase. Contrasting colours can be alternated anywhere throughout the shawl in any pattern. Rows of 2 alternating colours do work up beautifully. The pattern is written to follow a recipe as well so you don’t necessarily have to refer back to the written instructions once you get the hang of it.
