Over the years, I have become fascinated with the idea of combining different stitch techniques within the same project and have made many swatches to try different techniques together. One of my favorite swatch experiments combined a simple Bavarian twisted-stitch pattern with Scandinavian-inspired stranded knitting and eventually served as the inspiration for my “Sound of Music” socks. Of course, it couldn’t be more perfect that “Edelweiss” from Kremke Soul Wool was used to make them. The hills are alive!
