Sound Wave Tank
This was a collaboration design by Andeea Rae and Pearl Knit Purl who you can find here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/sources/pearlknitpurl-ra...
This tank was inspired by the drop stitch, which has always reminded me of a sound wave. By definition, sound is energy made by vibrations, and the sound wave is caused by the movement of energy traveling through air, water, or any other liquid or solid matter as it moves away from the source of the sound. Here you see an example of how the drop stitch has been exaggerated at each end to resemble an actual sound wave. I hope this little tank brings you good summer vibes and energy as you knit it!
Shaping Notes:
The Soundwave Tank is knit in two separate pieces. Dropped yarn overs run along the bottom hemline. Different sized yarn overs form a gradual curved line. It is reversible as well. One side will give a low cut effect, while the other side will be more modest. As seaming is being completed, adjusting the depth of the underarm can give a varying effect. There are two options available for the straps.
