Soundwave Cushions
A pair of colourful crocheted cushions, each with different front and back panels making them fully reversible – which side will you choose!?
One side of each cushion is crocheted using a variety of fun crochet stitches, the other side is crocheted using a gorgeous colour changing yarn with a different technique used in each cushion for when the colour change in the yarn is reached, creating two very different effects… lots of crochet fun!
Kits with all the yarn you need and including the printed pattern are available from The Knitting Network here: https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=18657&awinaff...
Materials:
• Elements Amplify (100g) Yarn A: 1 ball in ‘Pop’.
• Emu Classic DK (100g/282m/ 100% acrylic); 1 ball in each of the following colours: Yarn B: Raspberry (124), Yarn C: Lemon (149), Yarn D: Cream (102), Yarn E: Azure (139).
• 4mm (US G/6) crochet hook, stitch marker, yarn needle and scissors.
• Two cushion pads 32cm x 32cm (or 1cm - 2cm larger than finished panel size)
Pattern Notes: The cushion panels measure approximately 31cm x 31cm. The cushion pad needs to be a little larger so that the cushion cover gently eases and stretches over the pad for a neat and snug finish. Measure your panels once they are finished to determine the best cushion pad size for your cushions. Once both panels have been worked they are crocheted together over the cushion pad.
Tension: 16 half treble stitches across and 14 rows measures 10cm x 10cm (4in x 4in). Tension is not critical for this project but the stitches should not be too loose.
