Welcome to our first ever, Mystery Knit Along!

This Pattern was your entry into the South Eastern Ontario Yarn Crawl which ran April 1 to May 25/19.

Cast on and through your needles and yarn, explore the charm that is South Eastern Ontario.

This pattern was created to celebrate our little corner of the world with each clue taking you into our landscape, communities and history.

There are 5 weeks of clues and 8 weeks of “yarn crawling” as you meander through the villages, towns and back roads that make up visits to 14 local yarn stores.

Whether you choose to just knit the MKAL or if you decide to drive your way through our communities, you are in for an adventure.

Without giving too much away, the MKAL is beginner to intermediate skill level with options for the advanced knitter to take it up a notch to keep it interesting. Your yarn choice will be open enough to interest everyone.

Attached to your pattern download are 33 pages of information on every community, including the LYS, restaurants and cafes, lodgings, maps, attractions and yarn crawl rules.

Each LYS you visit will have a free pattern and 10% discount for MKAL participants.

Pattern sales will begin on March 1, 2019 and with your purchase you’ll receive everything you need to know to prepare for Clue 1 in the MKAL and to plan your travelling adventure. You can even begin your project bag as you wait for the yarn crawl.

Clue #1 will arrive in your Ravelry library, on April 1 and then every week following for a total of 5 weeks.
