South Street Shawlette
This shawlette is a fun little knit, great for a beginner to spread their wings a bit and enough changes to keep the experienced knitter interested. The pattern starts with a simple garter stitch triangle and uses short row shaping to lengthen the wings so it’s big enough to cover your shoulders or be worn as a kerchief. The shawl uses one skein (440yds/402m) of fingering weight yarn. Get creative and make it a color pop for your outfit. Works great with semi solids and with variegated yarn. The sample was knitted using Haute Knit Yarn’s Jimmy Sock in Tokyo Star.
