“MY SWEATER design was inspired by a decorative railing I saw while walking alongside the River Thames in London,” explains Emma Vining. “It was constructed from a series of metal semi-circles interspersed with vertical poles. For my pattern, I have turned the semi-circles on their sides and then mirror-imaged the design to form the interlocking circles. Using bold cable patterning creates a knitted fabric that really showcases the gorgeous fibre of the Wild Shetland yarn.”
