This is the cousin of the Northern Pixie hat for Santa’s helpers, garden gnomes, or Tolkien dwarfs that are allergic to animal fibers or live where it’s just too darn hot to put felted wool on your head (I’m talking about you Memphis and Northern Mississippi). It’s worked in the round.

Size: Toddler (Child, Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large)
Finished size: 18” (19”, 20”, 21”, 22”)
Gauge: On ladder ribbon yarn like Louisa Harding Anise: 14.5 sts = 4”
It’s always best to check your gauge with the yarn you choose and adjust needle size accordingly
Yarn: Louisa Harding Anise: 45% cotton, 45% polyacrylic, 10% nylon
Yardage: 71(88, 95, 103, 110)
