Crochet Pattern for these customizable alien monsters amigurumi - aka plushie! I like to call them “Space Boogers” after a very young relative of mine called them that when they saw one!
Super fun to make, and is a great gift for kids!

It is an instant pdf download - not a physical item. It includes a file for the color pages, and the file for the pattern. In the pattern there are instructions for two main body types, 3 eye sizes, 3 horn sizes, a bow, and spikes!
The body is made in one piece!

You should already know how to crochet the stitches listed below before buying this pattern.

This was tested by my amazing team!
Size: 6 inches not including horns
Difficulty: Medium. An adventurous beginner might be able to do this.
Stitches (US) : sl, sc, inc, dec, blosc, mc, dc, dcinc, bpsc, hdc, hdcinc,

Automatic download for pdf document.
This top quality pattern is 16 pages (8 if you print double sided!) and guides you along with plenty of pictures and tips.
And a second file will include the two pages of coloring pages that go with it - there is one for both the design with the mouth, and for the one without.

The yarn I used: worsted weight, 4 ply. This looks really great with variegated yarn!

Gauge: 20 single crochet stitches by 22 rows makes a 4x4 inch square.
Because this is a non-wearable item, you don’t need to stress too much about guage as long as your stitches are tight enough that the stuffing doesn’t show.

Yardage
The yardage will differ slightly with each design. It can also be affected by your gauge. It is always best to have a little extra yarn just in case!
The body takes about 105 yards of yarn.
If you do the mouth insert that is an extra 7 yards and makes the body 112 yards.
The largest horn takes 13 yards.
The other parts all take less than 10 yards each.

Suggested Yarn
This is what I used, but don’t be afraid to do your own version! You won’t need all of these colors, this is just a list of what you see in the photos.
I used worsted weight, 4ply acrylic yarn. RHSS = Red Heart Super Saver
