Use Ebony for the eyes and whiskers then pick whatever variegated and plain combo that suites your creative spirit. Tips are given so you don’t have to “carry” the yarn throughout so it is not bulky at all. The details are worth the small effort. We added some instructions for flaps and I-cords as optional details. If you add these - it will require additional yarn.

Basically, you need one dark skein for the details, one variegated for the crown and brim and then a solid light for the in between.
The sizes are written for 3 to 6 mos., 6 to 12 mos., 12-24 mos. and a child size. (hat circumferences: 16”, 17.5”, 19” and 20.5”)
