Knit in the round, the SUPER8 COWL is a fast, easy introduction to both lace and cables.

With just 34 rows, and simple 8-stitch pattern repeats, you can knit something that looks way more complicated than it really is!

Designed in 3 sizes, from a neck-huging cowl to a cocooning wrap, this scarf is perfect for those transitional days from fall to winter.

The samples are knit in Knitpicks Billow in Clarity, which has plenty of stretch to it. It blocks much larger than it first knits up. Most bulky yarns do this, so a 16-stitch swatch can be useful to knit up and block.

We recommend that you knit 4 stitches on each side of your swatch in garter stitch and then an 8-stitch lace panel in the middle, and then, after blocking, measure just the lace panel to get an accurate post-block measurement.

We hope you enjoy this first offering from Spakona Knits!
