The gently branching lace alongside twisted stitches and ribbing of these mitts are reminiscent of the drooping, swaying Spanish Moss that grows all over the trees in the American South. They work well in several weights/yarn combos and are cozy and warm.

Using DK alone or Fingering and mohair held together will result in a gauge just over 6 stitches per inch, using DK held together with mohair will result in just under 6 stitches per inch. All 3 options use the same needles and stitch counts, the lighter options result in mitts that are slightly less dense and offer a little bit more drape. The fit on all 3 is almost identical.
