Denna vante är starkt inspirerad av tröjorna gjorda i Korsnäs, Finland, med sina virkade muddar och axelpartier och stickade bålar och ärmar. This mitten pattern is strongly inspired by traditional sweaters knitted in Korsnäs, Finland, where cuffs and shoulders are traditionally crocheted and bodies and sleeves knitted. The mittens are constructed so that the cuff is crocheted first after which the stitches are picked up at the upper edge and the rest of the piece is knitted. The tight gauge and small stitches make the mittens warm. There are two versions of the pattern, one with narrow cuff and one with a wide cuff. Both versions have the same size of the “hand” of the mitten.
