A little bit of glitter, a little bit of celebration – perfect for a party, or for spicing up everyday office life!
Sparkle Up is a loose fitting sweater with Dolman sleeves, worked from the bottom up. Starting with a bottom hem in twisted rib, the simple eyelet pattern is established and continued for the length of the body. When it’s time to prepare for the sleeves, increases are done on every round to acquire the number of stitches needed for 3/4 length sleeves. The work is then split for front and back, worked flat separately. The neckline depth on the front is acquired by working short rows. The shoulders and sleeves are grafted together using Kitchener stitch (a 3-needle bind off could also be used here), and the neckline is worked. To finish it all off, short cuffs are added on both sleeves.

Yarn: Anzula Nebula (86% Merino, 14% Nylon & Stellina), Fingering weight, 366 meters / 400 yards per 100 g, 3-3-3-4-4-4 skeins. Colorway used for sample: “Hippo”.
Actual meterage/yardage needed:
800-940-1000-1100-1200-1300 meters / 870-1030-1100-1200-1320-1430 yards.

Needles: 4 mm / US 6 circulars, 80 cm / 32 inches.
Optional: Shorter circular needle for neckline, double pointed needles for sleeve cuffs.

Gauge: Sample uses gauge of 20,5 sts & 32 rows to 10 cm / 4 inches in eyelet pattern.
Stitch gauge is most important, as it is used to determine the length of the sleeves.

Size: XS-S-M-L-XL-2XL, to fit bust of 74-84-94-104-114-124 cm / 29-33-37-41-45-49 inches.
Actual garment measurement, hips: 90-93,5-101,5-113-125-136,5 cm / 35.5-36.75-40-44.5-49.25-53.75 inches. Garment is intended to be worn with around 5-10 cm / 2-4 inches of positive ease around the hips. See schematic for other measurements.
