The Sparkles in Nature Sweater was designed to take part in the Knit 3 Words Challenge 2021, which consists on creating a design inspired by 3 random words (faun, lightning and solid color this year) and recording all the process in YouTube.

The Sparkles in Nature Sweater features a yoke completely adorned with lace leaves inspired in Faun, roman god of nature and forests. It’s knitted in a solid color and incorporates a sequin yarn on the leaves that represents the sparkles and light of the lightning. The sweater is top-down. It’s knitted inside out, in the round, and seamless. The leaves are embroidered using Duplicate Stitch once the sweater is finished and blocked.

The Sparkles in Nature Sweater will add such a delicate and elegant touch to your wardrobe.

Sizes: (S, M, L, XL)
Choose the size that corresponds to your bust measurement:
• S: 81–86cm (32–34’’)
• M: 91.5–96.5cm (36–38’’)
• L: 101.5–106.5cm (40–42’’)
• XL: 111.5–117cm (44–46’’)
All sizes have been tested.

The sweater is designed to have 3.5-8.5cm (1.5-3.25’’) of positive ease when blocked. The sweater modeled in the pictures is size M. The model has a bust dimension of 96,5cm (38’’).

Materials (S, M, L, XL)
• Drops Nepal in color 7120-> (7, 8, 8, 9) balls or (520, 560, 595, 655) m of any Aran weight yarn that knits to the gauge
• Lola from Lanalan Hilaturas Torrijo in color 2312-> 1 ball or 80m of a sequin yarn
• Size US 10½ /6.5mm, 24”/60cm circular knitting needles (or the necessary to achieve the gauge).
• Size US 9 / 5.5mm, 24”/60cm circular knitting needles.
• DPNs or 8”/20cm circular knitting needles of the same sizes (for the sleeves and the beginning of the yoke).
• Scissors, darning needle and 8 stitch markers (1 of a different color for BOR marker)

Gauge
Knit in Stockinette Stitch in the round on US 10½/6.5mm needles, blocked: 13 sts x 17 rows = 10 x 10cm (4 x 4’’).

JERSEY DESTELLOS EN LA NATURALEZA
El Jersey Destellos en la Naturaleza fue creado para participar en el Reto Teje 3 Palabras 2021, el cual consiste en crear un diseño inspirado en 3 palabras aleatorias (fauno, relámpago y color sólido este año), y documentar el proceso en YouTube.

El Jersey Destellos en la Naturaleza tiene un canesú adornado completamente con hojas caladas inspiradas en Fauno, dios romano de la naturaleza y los bosques. Está realizado en un color sólido y lleva un hilo de lentejuelas bordado en las hojas, que representa los destellos y la luz del relámpago. El Jersey es de tipo top-down. Está tejido en una sola pieza, en circular, por el lado del revés y sin costuras. Las hojas se bordan con el jersey bloqueado usando la técnica Duplicate Stitch.

El Jersey Destellos en la Naturaleza es la prenda ideal para combatir el fresquito. Te hará sentir calentita y elegante al mismo tiempo.⁠

El jersey bloqueado tiene una holgura positiva de 3,5-8,5cm (1,5-3,25’’). El jersey modelado en las fotos es de la talla M para una modelo con un contorno de pecho de 96,5cm (38’’).

• Lola de Lanalan Hilaturas Torrijo en el color 2321-> 1 ovillo o 80m de una lana de lentejuelas
• Agujas circulares de 6,5mm (o las necesarias para obtener la muestra de tensión) y cable para un largo de 60 cm.
• Agujas circulares de 5,5mm y cable para un largo de 60 cm.
• Agujas circulares de un largo total de 20 cm de los mismos números (para las mangas y el principio del canesú).
• Tijeras, aguja lanera y 8 marcadores (1 distinto para el MIV)

Muestra de tensión
En punto derecho y agujas de 6,5mm, bloqueada: 13 puntos x 17 filas = 10 x 10cm (4 x 4’’).
