Sparkling Cross Body Bag
The Sparkling Cross Body is the perfect size for your basic essentials, and features a convertible strap for various wearing options. It’s an ode to the iconic style of my favorite sparkling beverage, the bright cheery colors add an instant mood boost!
Create the effect using clever color changes by following a chart. Don’t worry, you tie off your ends. The amount of yarn tails you have to actually weave in is minimal!
You will need to be comfortable reading a colorwork chart. The chart uses squares of color, not symbols to represent your yarn colors.
Yarns:
Worsted cotton yarn (I used Dishie by KnitPicks, their specific color names are in parenthesis).
You can easily substitute for other worsted weight cotton yarns, but I would not suggest mixing brands for this product. Even slight differences in yarn weight in the charted section of the pattern could result in distortion of the final image.
