This cheeky little chap is knitted flat and seamed. The pattern uses the Intarsia technique for the colour work sections which is laid out in a straightforward and easy to follow way. There is a small amount of stranded colour work over just a couple of rows.

10m (11yd) light brown yarn
10m (11yd) dark brown yarn
10m (11yd) cream yarn
10m (11yd) black yarn
10m (11yd) dark grey yarn
Two black 5mm (1/5in) safety eyes
Toy filling

Finished size: 11cm (4 3/8in) from beak to tail
