Such a sweet and lacy bonnet. The lace reminds me of the tail feathers of a sparrow. Traditional and trendy. Soft and sweet. The wide ties are perfect for the current photography trends. A great intermediate pattern that is worked flat.

It is knit flat. I used rowan kidsilk haze and knitpicks aloft.

This pattern is worked with 80-200yds lace weight mohair (0) and a size 7 (4.5mm) needles.
