SPASSOSO è un calzino lungo con tallone a tassello realizzato con un filato autorigante in un motivo traforato. La lavorazione è dall’alto verso il basso, quindi si inizia dalla gamba e si prosegue verso la punta del piede. Per rendere il calzino più confortevole al polpaccio, si avvierà un numero maggiore di maglie che verranno gradualmente diminuite fino all’altezza della caviglia.

SPASSOSO are mid-calf socks with a traditional heel flap. They are knitted cuff-down with a self-striping yarn in a lace pattern. To improve the fit at the calf, a larger number of stitches is cast on and gradually decreased towards the ankle.

MATERIALS
YARN: 1 Urth Uneek Sock Kit (shade 25 xmas)
NEEDLES: 23-cm-long (9-inch-long) mini circular needles size 2.50, spare needle to close the toe.
The instructions assume that the socks are knitted using mini circular needles. However, they can be easily adapted to different methods for knitting in the round (magic loop, set of double-point needles).
NOTIONS: tapestry needle, 3 stitch markers (one different from the others)
OPTIONAL: elastic thread to improve the stretchiness at the cuff

28 sts and 40 rows in 10 cm (4 in) x 10 cm (4 in)
knitted in Stockinette stitch in the round
