SPECKLEtacular is an apt name for this hat because it uses Knit Picks Hawthorne Speckle Hand Painted yarn. The hat is lined with any coordinating solid yarn of the same fiber content and weight. (I used Knit Picks Stroll.) The lining gives the hat extra warmth and comfort. Wear as is, or fold the edge up a bit to expose the lining and create a brim (see photos). These hats are fun to make and can easily be adjusted to fit any size head. I have included suggested child-sizing, but you can adjust needle size and round numbers to achieve the size you want.
