This is a fully reversible scarf with an easily memorised two-row pattern that incorporates moss (seed) stitch and lace panels.

Size: the width is can be adjusted by increasing/decreasing the number of pattern repeats and, of course, the length is entirely up to your preferences and the amount of yarn you have!

Yarn: the scarf pictured was made with just under 100g of handspun, kid mohair/silk, light-fingering weight yarn - similar weight yarns you may wish to use include ‘Excelite’ by John Arbon, ‘Shetland Heritage’ by Jamieson & Smith and ‘Brushed Alpaca Silk’ by DROPS. However, any weight of yarn could be used (with the proviso that the amount required will of course be different to that given above). Note: the lustre of silk is particularly effective in the moss stitch panels.

Measurements: the scarf pictured measured 170cm x 30cm after blocking.

Gauge: not important other than giving you the effect you want.
