Speedwell is a triangular shawl is knit from one corner out, with increases on one side and a simple lace design on the other.

The shawl uses two colors of lace weight silk/mohair yarn, held double throughout. First, color 1 is held double, then a strand of color 1 and color 2 are held together, and finally color 2 is held double, creating a gradient effect.

The pattern is beginner-friendly.
