This pattern will show you how to make a cute spelling bee plushy. This bee includes a little pair of glasses that can be surface crocheted or stitched on, but you can also leave the glasses off without any issues.

I made mine using I Love This Cotton! Yarn and a size F (3.75 mm) crochet hook. You’ll also need a little bit of scrap yarn for stitching on the face and glasses, safety eyes, fiberfill stuffing, stitch markers, and a tapestry needle.

Gauge isn’t crucial as long as your stitches are tight enough to keep the stuffing in. I tend to crochet tightly, so you’ll probably want to go down a hook size if you’re a looser crocheter.
