DESIGN OVERVIEW: Spelt slipover is a comfortable vest with deep armholes and fancy bobble stitch on front. Bottom band, neck and side panels knitted with twisted rib. The recommended positive ease (measured at waist) is 15-20 cm/6-8 inches. Front and back knitted bottom up on straight needles.
After shoulder seams closed, the stitches picked up for neck band, which is knitted in the round.

- Circular needles US 6 (4.0 mm) x 50 cm
- Knitting needle US 7 (4.5 mm)
- 2x Stitch holders and 8x stitch markers
- Tapestry needle or crochet hook

YARN #1 WEIGHT: DK/8-ply
YARN #1 LENGTH: 147 yds (134 m) in 50 g skein

YARN #2 LENGTH: 229 yds (209 m) in 25 g skein
GAUGE for 2 strands of yarn hold together: 20 stitches and 27 rows = 4” /10 cm in stockinette stitch using needle US 7 (4.5 mm)
Required skills: Cast on, knit, purl, knit, knit and purl through back loop, yo, basic increasing and decreasing, pick up stitches, knitting in the round (neck), crochet bobbles (pattern has photo tutorial )
