The Spice island beanie pattern is a beginner-friendly pattern, where all the techniques are explained with photo and video tutorials, to crochet a beanie that fits you perfectly, and with a knit-like look!

The pattern reports three sizes: small, medium, and large (from 45 to 56 cm cm as circumference - not stretched). There are also instructions to adjust the sizing, and the dimension of the hat brim.

To crochet this beanie using aran or worsted yarn, you will need between 65 to 100 grams of yarn, so it’s perfect to use up the yarn in your stash!

You will need a 6.5 mm hook.

It’s very quick to make, and you can learn how to use short rows and a special stitch technique to obtain a knit-like look!

The pattern is a pdf of 10 pages (including the tester gallery) with external tutorials (prepared by me for this pattern!) to help beginner crocheters at every step!

This pattern is part of a beanie and fingerless gloves set: the spice island set. You can find the gloves here or for free on my blog at https://www.olayarncrochet.co.uk/
