The Spiced Pear Mimosa is a herringbone stitch hat which is knit in the round using the magic loop method. This is the perfect hat to knit using colorful, variegated or handspun yarn since the herringbone stitch displays the colors beautifully. The fold over brim and thick herringbone stitch make a warm hat for the winter weather.

Sizes of 20”, 22” and 24” are available.
The herringbone is a stretchy stitch and will fit snuggly around the head.

You will need US size 5 and 6 circular needles for magic loop.

It is important to use the magic loop method for herringbone stitch in the round to make the knitting easier.

Any sport weight yarn will work for this project.
