For accessibility this pattern is available from my etsy shop and Payhip shop. Spiced Tea is perfect for a pretty skein of sock yarn in the wildest colors, the one you could not resist buying. It uses less than 400 yards of yarn, but still makes a respectable sized shawl. It is light as a feather, and perfect for wrapping around your neck like a kerchief or scarf, but still gives a little warmth. The combination of lace and garter-lace will also look equally beautiful in a solid or striped yarn. The pattern has directions for making a full sized shawl.

Loom:
1/2 inch gauge loom with 45 pegs. (A 5/8 or 3/8 small gauge loom may be substituted. Additional yarn will be needed for the 3/8 gauge loom.)

Yarn: Sample made in Knit Pick’s Stroll Hand Painted in Sunset.

Spiced Tea is from the e-book “Small Shawls and Tea Parties: Seven shawls to make small, or large, and the recipes they inspired”.The e-book comes with two files, a large print 24 point font plain text version with 100 pages, and a 12 point font paper-saver version with 45 pages. A photo gallery, schematics, and recipes for a tea party are included. Files are tablet and e-reader friendly.

My patterns are low vision and screen reader accessible. The text is black, Arial and large print 24 point font. All of the directions are fully written out and no charts are relied on to complete the patterns. No italics are used. They are screen reader and tablet friendly.
