Spider Bookmark
This lovely bookmark is made from lace weight yarn. It uses a very small amount so it is great to use up those leftover scraps. It is the perfect project to travel with, light and compact and reasonably simple to follow. I am making them for gifts for my family and friends!
This pattern is a take on one of the oldest patterns in crochet, spider lace. I have updated this ancient technique in a easy to follow row by row written pattern. I have been making this particular version of spider lace since I was a child as blankets and throws. I just scaled it down for this divine bookmark. The bookmark pictured was made from my lace weight Alpaca, Cashmere and Silk blend yarn.
You will need a size 7 steel crochet hook and lace weight yarn. You will use SC, DC and TR in a 5 row repeating pattern. It is not a very hard pattern. The book mark measures 8 1/2” by 2” in the yarn I used. It will vary depending on your gauge.
You will receive your pattern within 24 hours of your purchase in PDF format.
