This is a pattern for a baby blanket (afghan, christening shawl) in lace spider stitch design and a wide ruffled trim made with light worsted (category 3) yarn and size G/6 (4.25 mm) crochet hook.

The finished blanket measures approximately 40 by 31 inches.

The skill level is beginner. This pattern can easily be adjusted to a bigger or smaller size.
