To make the spider web crochet ear flap hat, you’ll need the following materials:

• Crochet hooks sized: 6.00mm & 4.00mm
• Polyester stuffing small amount
• Tapestry needle & scissors
• Sewing pins and/or stitch markers
• One sheet of red craft felt and fabric glue, OR red wool roving and a felting needle (for the spider eyes)
• At least 4 black pipe cleaners and something to cut them with

Pattern Skill Level: Intermediate

Other skills to be familiar with: all basic crochet stitches (sc, hdc, dc), decrease and increase stitches, magic circle, and crocheting in the round, the amigurumi continuous (aka “spiral”) method of crocheting, and sewing separate crochet pieces together. It’s also helpful to be familiar with the mosaic crochet technique of “drop down” crocheting, but I’ll explain that in the pattern so if you don’t know what it is that’s okay too!
