Spike the hedgehog and Moe the mouse are crafty little critters. You can knit them for toys or use them as pincushions. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, buttons and felt fabric scraps for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - The hedgehog and mouse are each 9cm tall x 15cm long (not including the mouse’s tail).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting bobbles and seaming to finish.
