Spike Chain Stitch Scarf pattern can be worked 7+ feet long for adult and 5-6 feet for child and youth sizes.

Chain the desired length of scarf when you start. Just unravel any unused stitches at the end of your chain after finishing the 2nd row of scarf stitch pattern.

Gauge isn’t really important in this project. Just chain a length to start the scarf and make sure it is long enough before you begin row 2.

Two different colors of yarn are needed for this scarf and I used about a half of each skein in each color of Love This Yarn (7 ozs total) for an adult length scarf.
