These coasters came about because I wanted to make a friend a housewarming present. I wanted something simple, but with some interest and these Spikey Coasters happened! Using spike stitches and a contrasting color really makes these coasters stand out!

I used a US Size G 4.25 mm crochet hook, but that’s not an option when selecting hook size. Either a 4 mm or a 4.5 mm hook will work. The only thing that might change is the diameter of your coaster.
