Spill
Spill is a shawl worked in rows in a gradient yarn, with short rows used to create a gradual, off-center color change.
Crochet it with a long gradient yarn, or use a few different colors to create asymmetrical stripes.
Spill is a crescent shape that measures about 48” (122 cm) along the inside curve and about 14” (35.5 cm) deep in the center.
Difficulty: Easy
Includes 3 pages of written instructions and photographs.
Erratum: Notes
Second note should read as follows:
“… both the slip stitch and the sc where the slip stitch is worked count as stitches…” (as shown in Figure 1 on Page 2)
Clarification: Even rows
Each even row is worked as follows:
sc in each dc
when working an even row immediately after a short row, do not work a sc into the slip stitch at the end of the short row.
