Spinarak (Pokemon)
Heya! I’m back with another Pokemon pattern! This time I’m bringing you Spinarak, the saddest non-spider to have ever existed! I don’t know what it is about this pokemon that makes me like it, considering I’m really not a fan of bugs or spiders, but look at his cute little face! Make your own one to keep pesky mosquitos at bay!
Materials
To make Spinarak you will need:
– A 2.5mm crochet hook
– Green, yellow, dark blue, black, white and orange yarns
– A tapestry needle and scissors
– Stuffing
- Optional: Wire or pipe cleaners for the legs
– A stitch marker to help you keep track of the start of the round
Please note that you can make Spinarak using any size crochet hook and yarn weight for a smaller or bigger result. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook, Spinarak should be about 5cm tall and 15 cm long.
Stitches & Abbreviations
The pattern is written using US crochet terms in continuous spirals. You will need to know the following kinds of stitches to make him:
– Magic Ring (MR)
– Chaning (ch)
– Single crochet (sc)
– Decrease (dec); preferably using the invisible decrease method
– Increase (inc)
