Spine of the World
Who loves a little pop of colour? Spine of the World is a top down triangular shawl designed to satisfy the need for colour, texture, and lace all in one piece. A fingering weight shawl is always great for a nice layering piece and is perfect for transitional weather. Wear it under your jacket for a small pop or wear it draped over your shoulders to show off the coloured spine.
The small explosion of colour is in the mosaic style so is created by slipped stitches making it a nice relaxing knit as you’ll only be working one colour per row. The lace edging is a simple and short repeat that adds just a little flair and contrast to the texture above.
